Ms. Bowman believes strongly in giving back to the community including:  regular monthly performances at Panorama City, performances at other local retirement centers, and participation at Olympia Arts Walk.  In addition, she has created a successful Arts Enrichment Program at a local public elementary school which brings in several hundred hours of extra arts instruction (art, music, drama and mindfulness) every year.

Students describe her as an instructor who maintains high standards, yet approaches each individual with "enthusiasm," "boundless energy," and "using positive feedback."  She truly loves the challenge of creating an individualized course of study for each student, as she believes that there is a distinct place for each of us in the musical world.
